In-Person and Online Classes
1:1 Holistic Biomechanics Personal Sessions
In-Person 1:1 Sessions
In-Person sessions include movement using various pieces of equipment such as a Pilates Reformer or Cadilac. Our studio is located in the Pearl District of downtown Portland, Oregon.
Online 1:1 Sessions
Online sessions will include movement without equipment done lying down on the floor, seated in a chair, and standing. Some clients choose to obtain a foam roller, a pair of "pinky" or lacrosse balls, and a yoga sandbag for at home equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
How long does this take to work?We do not offer a quick fix. After a full 55-minute session, clients will have an experience that will inform them about this practice better than any verbal description. Typically, we meet with most clients once per week. Depending on circumstances, we will sometimes encourage 2 sessions per week for a month, then tapering down to once per week. After 3 weeks, if not sooner, clients experience change that informs them they are on the right path. Research tells us that a neurological shift takes about 9-months, although our clients report significant change well before then. At home practice is highly encouraged. Your practitioner will discuss ways for you to integrate this into your life so we are not adding onto your to-do list.
-
What should I wear? Please wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in! Our clients wear everything from pajamas to business suits to athleisure. Shoes are discouraged for online sessions and not allowed in the in-person studio space.
-
What do I need for one-on-one online sessions? Please have a space where you can lay on the floor and open your arms fully out to the side. A yoga mat is optional. If being on the floor is not an option for you, we can easily modify. If you have a foam roller or other tools at your disposal, we may put them to work, but purchasing equipment is not necessary. We will also do movement seated on a chair. A chair that is not on casters and does not have arm rests is preferable, but we will work with what you have.
-
Where is your studio located? Our studio is located at 821 NW Flanders, Suite 303, Portland, OR 97209. The address is included in the in-person appointment confirmation email.
